Bruni Praises Centro Vinoteca, Warns of Noise

Today, Frank Bruni's review of Centro Vinoteca has a good tip for event planners looking to take a group or send execs to the West Village restaurant. Although the New York Times critic speaks highly of the fried items on chef Anne Burrell's menu—"anytime Anne Burrell gets near hot oil, I want to be around. The woman can fry," he says—he also reveals that the noise level downstairs is "bone-rattling" and your best bet is to get seated upstairs.
