With established stores in Tokyo, Amsterdam, and Barcelona, high-end Australian cult candy company Papabubble arrived Stateside this fall in Little Italy. Shelves are stocked with jars of fruit-flavored lozenges and sour acid drops ready for consumption. In a grand display of craftsmanship, confectioners pull, twist, and sculpt long ribbons of warm sugar in front of customers’ eyes. The shop can create custom candies, from tiny lollipops to conceptual items like company logos, and now takes requests to host private activities in the shop.
