Before sitting through another day of Fashion Week shows, an assortment of fashion editors got a mini breakfast while looking over the spring 2004 collections of the his-and-hers preppy accessories companies Kate Spade and Jack Spade. While milling about the Kate Spade showroom with the husband and wife behind the labels—Kate and Andy—guests could sample some tiny versions of breakfast standards: scrambled eggs served in bacon cups and miniature sticky buns, pancakes, French toast and sugar donuts. The cute catering concept came from Callahan Catering, whose waitstaff wore the uniforms Mrs. Spade designed for Song, Delta's new boutique-style, low-fare airline.
