The final phase of Resorts World Casino New York made its debut on December 16, adding more gaming spaces and the largest venue for events in Queens. The property, which is next to the Aqueduct Racetrack, opened in late October with the Times Square Casino.
The South Ozone Park gaming and entertainment complex, owned by the Genting Group, unveiled the 70,000-square-foot Central Park event space, which is designed to host concerts, banquets, trade shows, conferences, and other private functions. Located on the third floor of the casino, the venue also offers views of the racetrack from its outdoor terrace.
In addition to the Central Park space, the venue opened restaurants and two casinos on the second floor. There, casino-goers can find the Fifth Avenue casino with 2,240 video lottery terminals and 270 electronic table games. The RWPrime Steakhouse has an open kitchen, terrace, private dining room, and a rustic interior. Chinese fine-dining eatery Genting Palace Restaurant also has an area for private groups as well as a dim sum menu. The Crockfords casino is a V.I.P.-only space with a private entrance, lounge for guests, 64 video lottery terminals, and 14 electronic table games.
The final phase of the project involves the completion of the covered sky bridge to the A train.
