Visit Jacksonville Makes Changes for New Business

In an effort to bring in more group business, Visit Jacksonville has announced new internal changes, as well as meeting incentives. The CVB's director of sales, Kevin Shea, will move offices to the Prime F. Osborn III Convention Center, providing more direct promotion of the 275,000-square-foot facility.

The company has also announced special rates for hotel stays, food and beverage services, activities, and more for events booked before January 31, 2009. In addition, Visit Jacksonville has new information on speakers and venues specifically targeted to the medical industry, as well as new supplemental material with information regarding multicultural services, available in the company's Visitor Magazine.
