The Heaven Event Center, which opened in March 2008 on a lakefront peninsula five miles east of the convention center, offers 7,000 square feet of interior meeting space and a 2,000-square-foot lakeshore patio. LED lighting drapes the exterior of the building in cool blue at night, while the interior rooms are decorated in white marble, black granite, and color-changing lighting. The event hall seats 500.
