Hundreds of Southwest Florida industry professionals socialized at the grand opening of U.S. Tent Rental Inc.'s new 20,000-square-foot warehouse and showroom on June 18. The event gathered together many of Sarasota and Tampa Bay's best caterers, coordinators, and industry professionals for an evening of networking under the stars.
A ceremonial red carpet and staff members offering champagne greeted attendees as they arrived. They were then gathered together and given tours of the state-of-the-art facility and showroom before being led out to the main party. The company transformed its loading docks into an energetic event space with the construction of a 50- by 160-foot Anchor Navitrack tent.Molly Demeulenaere and Keren Shani of Rambunktious Productions created multiple vignettes of cozy lounges with U.S. Tent's furniture to both display the company's wares and give guests a place to relax. Additionally, they used bright, energizing color combinations, such as red and gold, and topped each cocktail table with a centerpiece reminiscent of lava lamps, which kept the ambience fun and lighthearted. Low tables and plenty of pillows created intimate dining areas at the warehouse's floor level, which was divided from the dance floor by a curtain of red beads. Just a few steps away from the main party space was the 40- by 50-foot "cool" tent featuring stylish indoor/outdoor furniture from Chill Lounge Furniture.
More than a dozen local restaurants and caterers including Mattison's, Events by Amore, Cafe L'Europe, and Ezra Catering served up their specialties for guests to enjoy. Rounding out the culinary tour were mini desserts from Mr. Cheesecake, providing departing guests with one last treat as the evening ended.

Cocktail tables were topped with playful centerpieces reminiscent of lava lamps, which were slightly pressurized to keep the \"lava\" in motion.
