The DeBartolo Family Foundation hosted its sixth annual All Star Charity Gala in Tampa on March 6, with special guests including past and present NFL Hall of Famers and a performance from Paul Anka.
The foundation turned to planner Tiffany Packer to coordinate the gala, along with the A La Carte Event Pavilion's in-house designers, Corina Wian-Literski and Ashley McChesney. The team created a Gothic garden atmosphere with living statues, black and white decor, and wrought iron details throughout the venue.
Guests entered through an elaborate yet easily maneuverable garden labyrinth that led into the cocktail and dining areas. Created with yards of white draping, the maze was dotted with stone statues and a model posed as a statue in a fountain from Event Show Productions.
Inside the dining area, white draping suspended from the ceiling was accented with pink and purple lighting. White, silver, and black-and-white brocade satin linens covered the tables, which were accented by chairs covered in a contrasting color and topped with tall wrought iron candelabra or low-lying floral centerpieces. Small bouquets of flowers were nestled in the middle of each centerpiece, adding a softness to the iron dominating each table.
The evening wrapped up with Anka performing his classic hits, including "Diana" and "Put Your Head on My Shoulder."
