City magazine, the New York-based lifestyle publication, had a launch party for its summer food issue at the Crescent Hotel on June 28. City’s west coast account executive, Quyenzi Pham, was on hand to meet and greet local writers, editors, and advertisers while sipping Pravda vodka cocktails and nibbling on Kobe beef sliders from the hotel’s restaurant, Boe. Paul Burditch Marketing, which reps the hotel, helped with the PR.

The night before, the Crescent hosted a launch party for Napa Girl Wines, where guests sipped the new chardonnay and cabernet sauvignon on the patio. Boe again catered the event, serving crudités and flatbread pizzas. Blue Chair Media Inc. handled PR.
