Thompson Hotels, which owns the Hollywood Roosevelt as well as 60 Thompson in New York, announced it will take over the management of the 23-room boutique Gaige House in Sonoma. Originally built in 1890, Gaige House is located on the edge of the Calabazas Creek in Glen Ellen. The property sits on three acres of manicured lawns and gardens and was renovated and expanded in 2005 by designer Paul Davis. The expansion included the addition of eight 600-square foot modern luxury suites, each featuring large soaking tubs, dual showers, fireplaces, Japanese rock gardens, and patios.
In October 2006, the company will open Thompson Beverly Hills, as well as 6 Columbus in New York’s Columbus Circle.
