Urban Adventure Quest turns the city of Dallas into a giant board game. Part Amazing Race, part city tour, the scavenger-hunt-style pursuit is guided via smartphone, and teams try to solve clues and complete challenges all over town. Quests usually take about three hours to complete, and private groups can participate on their own schedules.

Open since summer, Off the Record seamlessly blends old and new by merging a vintage record store with a modern craft beer bar. The Deep Ellum venue features 24 craft and local beers on tap, as well as a small menu of 10 inventive cocktails. In the back of the room, custom-built racks house thousands of vinyl records available for sale. As the venue is a draw for music fans, Off the Record will soon add a stage area for live performances.
