Here's a look at Dallas/Fort Worth's new spaces open for events this spring. The new and renovated Dallas/Fort Worth venues are available for corporate parties, weddings, fundraisers, outdoor functions, business dinners, team-building activities, conferences, meetings and more.

Marriott Dallas Uptown
February brought the debut of Marriott Dallas Uptown, a 255-room new-build hotel in Uptown. The modern property features six event venues totaling 13,130 square feet. The 875-square-foot Kansas Room seats 110 for theater setups, 75 for banquets and 46 classroom style. The 1,700-square-foot, 14th-floor Trailview Room is located on the hotel's rooftop and boasts 360-degree views of the city for cocktail-style receptions for 175 guests and seated banquets for up to 100. An in-house audiovisual team is available to handle sound, lighting, hybrid meetings and other technological needs.

Cufflink Art
Set inside a former 1927 clothing manufacturing building, Cufflink Art opened near Southside Fort Worth in November. The 1,000-square-foot art gallery offers a tranquil, open space where planners can host events among a curated selection of art by both local and internationally acclaimed artists. Reserve the venue for private events of up to 35 seated guests and 50 for cocktail-style receptions.

Hotel Drover
Bringing rustic-cowboy charm to the luxe hospitality experience, Hotel Drover, an Autograph Collection hotel, opened in March in Mule Alley in the Fort Worth Stockyards Historic District. The property embraces the area’s local history, with touches like branded leather check-in stations, authentic reclaimed hardwood floors and Instagram-friendly photo ops. The 200-room hotel features multiple food and beverage destinations, including the Lobby Bar, complete with a fireplace and velvet couches; 97 West Kitchen & Bar to host up to 200; and The Backyard, a tree-laden outdoor haven with creekside bar seating, fire pits, Adirondack chairs and a stage equipped for live music. There is a total of 40,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space for groups of all sizes, including Legacy Hall, the Ranchero Room and the Drover Boardroom, which can seat as many as 240, 50 and 12, respectively. The Barn, a 4,000-square-foot space that boasts exposed 150-year-old barn beams, 30-foot vaulted ceilings and room for 400 guests is the property's star space. Outside the barn, 2,500 feet of additional space is available for events.

Harwood Arms
Harwood Arms is a cozy, British pub-style eatery that opened in the Harwood District in December. Throughout the 4,000-square-foot space, tufted leather banquettes, six televisions, dart boards and dark wood furniture draws inspiration from the British Isles. Meanwhile, the menu boasts from-scratch specialties that bring an international approach to local cuisine such as Guinness-braised short ribs and Jameson French toast. The bar features more than 40 whiskeys from across the globe, including a one-of-a-kind collaboration with Maker’s Mark. In total, the venue can seat 155 guests indoors and 56 on the patio.

Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel
Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel completed a top-to-bottom, multimillion-dollar renovation in March, upgrading the property with modern technology and amenities, a neutral color palette, natural design materials and eye-catching art. Located on Restaurant Row, the hotel features 528 guest rooms, including 24 bi-level suites. Guests can dine on the property at Noell JCT or grab a light bite and drink at the adjacent Noell JCT Lounge. The hotel boasts a total of 100,000 square feet of dedicated meeting space, the most of any hotel in Addison, which has been redesigned with upwards of 30 flexible indoor and outdoor options. The 25,520-square-foot Crystal Ballroom can accommodate as many as 2,500 for seated banquets and cocktail receptions; the 5,030-square-foot outdoor Gazebo Court can seat 200 and host 250 cocktail style; and the 403-square-foot Malachite Boardroom seats 12.
