The newly expanded Fortessa outlet in Sterling, Virginia, celebrated its grand reopening earlier this month and is a must-stop for planners looking to expand their tableware know-how. The store offers 20 to 80 percent off its product lines and now has a 25,000-square-foot showroom and extended hours for hospitality professionals. Fortessa’s extensive collection includes Schott Zwiesel crystal glass, classic bone china, and contemporary serving pieces from the Accentz Collection (a line known to offer designs inspired by international culinary trends).

Located off the Dulles toll road, the store has been redesigned to offer numerous display areas, a sleeker look, and a more convenient checkout area. The discounted stock—tableware, flatware, glassware, and bar accessories—come from Fortessa’s 10 showrooms across the U.S., Mexico, and Europe. The outlet is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. exclusively for hospitality professionals. (22601 Davis Drive, 703.787.0357, www.fortessa.com)
