Lunch for Two: Take a comfortable meal at the traditional French brasserie Cercle Rouge, which sports vintage film posters and movie stills, Paris Metro signage, and rich red banquettes. The menu has classics like steak frites and chicken paillard, as well as sautéed duck, and there’s also a range of sandwiches available.
Drinks for Four: Spirit your guests down a flight of stairs from the street and into the cozy drinks den B Flat. Settle into a booth or at a selection of low tables and take in a well-crafted cocktail: The menu features specialty whiskey, vodka, gin, tequila, wine, and champagne-based drinks, and there’s also a selection of small plates to nosh on.A Private Dinner for 20: Try Glen Lounge, the spacious downstairs area below Devin Tavern, which seats as many as 40. Completely separate from the upstairs space, the lower level has its own bar and dining room. Meetings can take advantage of the ceiling-mounted LCD projector and a drop-down screen in the dining room, as well as two plasma screens in the bar.
Cocktails for 100: The Tribeca Cinemas Gallery, part of the downtown complex that hosts various Tribeca Film Festival events, can hold as many as 200. The clean, gallerylike space—with white walls, hardwood floors, lots of natural light, and plenty of tech gear (for press conferences and the like)—totals 2,500 square feet.
