The Hollywood Heights Hotel has opened its new bar and restaurant, the Hideout. With a total capacity of about 100, the venue is divided into a bar and lounge area at the front and, in the back, a dining room that can be sectioned off for private events. Events can also take over the adjacent patio area. The entire venue is available for buyout.
The Hideout serves updated comfort food in a modern environment done in earth tones with artistic detailing, like a bubble-shaped art piece on the back wall. Dinner options include macaroni and four cheeses with herbed bread crumbs; sweet potato fries; and house-made bread pudding. The bar serves specialty cocktails with names inspired by Hollywood landmarks.
The Hideout is near the Hollywood Bowl for pre- or post-show entertaining during the performance season. (Insiders might dine at the Hideout, entertain at the Bowl, and walk back for another drink at the Hideout to wait out the notorious after-concert traffic before retrieving their car from the valet.)
The Hollywood Heights Hotel has 160 guest rooms with design elements like movie posters and black-and-white images of movie legends.
