In May, Alexis Ufland, the owner of mobile spa service Sparty, opened a 2,000-square-foot loft for therapeutic parties. Sparty Studio, in the Flatiron district, is a flexible space with polished wooden floors, exposed brick walls, and 10-foot-tall windows overlooking the street. Ufland (also the founder of spa consultancy firm Lexi Design) designed and decorated the venue with contemporary Art Deco-style furniture, and floor-to-ceiling curtains on tracks that create individual treatment rooms. The studio features a full kitchen, where Boutique can handle the food, or you can bring in outside companies. Audio, lighting, and video projection are also available. —Anna Sekula
