India’s renowned party region has caught the attention of a couple of L.A. nightlife purveyors. Adolfo Suaya and Michael Sutton have opened the supper club Goa, named after the Indian state famous for its after-dark scene. The space borrows decor elements from India and Morocco for an exotic look dreamed up by Kristofer Keith from Spacecraft, the designer behind stylish spots such as Ortolan. Bucking expectation, executive chef Ted Fujita of Yu & Mi Sushi has designed a menu with Japanese influences. The venue is open to clubgoers on Thursdays and Saturdays and is available for private events the remainder of the week. Goa holds 500; it features three bars and a patio. Additionally, the adjacent alley can be commandeered for events.
