The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (Diffa) Dining by Design benefit always promises spectacular decor, and this year's event at the Hammerstein Ballroom was no exception. The event gathered some of the city's preeminent event, fashion and interior designers for a tabletop decor extravaganza filled with inspiration and great ideas for event planners. Although we'll be publishing more photos and details about the event later, we wanted to offer a quick look at a few of the highlights from last night's event.

A retro, multilayered green tabletop from Terence Conran was a clean, eye-catching surprise at the Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (Diffa) Dining by Design benefit.

Avi Adler's Taittinger Champagne-sponsored table was golden luxe all the way, with shimmering strings of gold beads, a gold tablecloth, and Adler's signature centerpieces of grids of poles with globes on top. An inviting nest of pillows surrounding the table made for a sexy, alluring, glam display.

A trashy but chic table sponsored by Tiffany Dubin for Lair used the most props, including a reclining mannequin under the glass table and wine glasses painted with blue eyes.

Online gift company Red Envelope's Valentine's Day-inspired table included heart-shaped pillows on the seats and red mailboxes and heart-shaped picture frames on the tables.
