In addition to his centerpiece for the Valentino table, Oscar Mora added a light touch by placing lemons at each place setting. Each lemon was carved out and filled with moss and topped with a purple orchid.

Stephen Elrod of textile company Lee Jofa used shades of yellow and orange orchids in blue and white porcelain vases for a Chinese look—with kumquats, oranges, and lemons spilling from the arrangement. A tangerine silk taffeta tablecloth had a quilted pattern of squares within squares and napkins were embroidered with the garden’s logo.

Artist Michele Oka Doner placed a glittering assortment of her highly textured silver vessels on the table and filled them with green orchids and a variety of leaves.

David Salvatore, creative director at Blair Delmonico, created a jewel-encrusted candelabrum adorned with white orchids in place of candles.
