MKG hosted its fifth annual Summer Party at its New York offices on July 17. The experiential marketing, social media, and branding agency gave its client event an offbeat theme inspired by a classic Saturday-morning show of the 1980s: Pee-wee's Playhouse. Take a peek inside the nostalgic event, which offered everything from a ball pit to a chance to sit on "Chairry."

Dubbed "MKG-Wee's Playhouse," the event had bright signage at its entrance to welcome guests to the event. A performer dressed as Pee-wee Herman, named "VIP-Wee," served as the greeter.

Once inside MKG's offices, guests could pose for a photo on a blue chair with googly eyes, inspired by the "Chairry" character from the TV show. Planners used a Bosco photo booth.

A custom "prank booth" let guests engage in a favorite activity of character Randy the bully: prank calls.

There was also an actual ball pit in one of the conference rooms. Guests took advantage of the whimsical activity, leaping into the pit throughout the evening.
