Reuters, by way of Yahoo, is reporting that Wolfgang Puck’s catering firm may have exposed attendees at the February 14 Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue party to acute Hepatitis A. (An employee of Wolfgang Puck Catering was diagnosed with the disease.) The L.A. County health department is recommending that anyone who ate uncooked food at the bash be treated by today. Puck Catering president Carl Shuster confirms that the employee in question was put on medical leave and that the company has “applied exceptional procedures” to disinfect their kitchens and food-processing areas.
