GustOrganics, a U.S.D.A.-certified organic restaurant near Union Square, recently launched an in-office catering division. GustOrganics's catering menu includes breakfast items like spinach crepes with steak and avocado ($22), ham and cheese omelets with grilled potatoes ($12.50), strawberry-orange juice, and fair-trade coffee. For lunch there are grilled empanadas ($26.95 for six) and savory tarts ($13.95), in addition to more traditional offerings such as salads and sandwiches.
Free delivery is available throughout Manhattan for minimum orders of $200. For delivery in other boroughs, orders must be $600 or more and are charged a 10% fee. Full-service in-office catering with chafing dishes, linens, and a server is available for an additional 20% fee.
The restaurant, which opened in January, doesn't limit it's eco-minded endeavors to serving organic food—it also runs on wind power, uses energy-efficient kitchen equipment, and composts waste, among other green practices.
