Earlier this year, the owners of Clarendon bar and restaurant Spider Kelly’s took over two adjacent storefronts and transformed it from an intimate one-room lounge into an 8,000-square-foot, multiroom, cavernous space capable of hosting groups of as many as 450 people. The new space now sports more than 31 high-definition TVs, a large, central island bar made of poured concrete, a couch-filled lounge area, a private dining room, and a side game room complete with pool tables, shuffleboard, darts, and plenty of video games.
The menu offers plenty of bar food staples—burgers, chili-topped nachos, and wings—but also includes several comfort-food options—fried chicken and a Dr. Pepper-marinated pork chop—along with upscale entrées like sirloin steak and grilled mahimahi.
