For the opening of its newest studio—a renovated warehouse in Miami's Design District—Splashlight Studios converted its modest facility into a tangerine-colored dream space for the night.
Camille Park, the special events producer for Splashlight, hired local production company Event Source International to set the scene for opening night. Guests walked into a tented lounge awash in an orange glow with low lighting and citrus-colored lanterns. White cubes with tangerine-colored cushions and an arrangement of candles provided ideal areas for guests to sit and nibble on appetizers from Mena Catering and sip libations from bars by Remy Amerique.
M.A.C. cosmetics entertained guests with a live body painting demonstration on two models, who wore nothing but body paint, skimpy panties, and smiles.
To showcase its specialty, Splashlight's photographer, Cliff Howsner, offered guests the opportunity to participate in a mini photo shoot. All the photos were made available online for guests to view.
As the night wrapped up, guests didn't leave empty-handed—they took with them gift bags containing an orange T-shirt sporting Splashlight's logo and a sample of M.A.C. cosmetics.

Event Source International used palm fronds and floating candles as part of the decor.

Orange and pink were used in everything from the lighting to the lanterns at Splashlight Studios.
