Guastavino's got an all-pink makeover from Colin Cowie to host the Breast Cancer Research Foundation's Promesse to Win gaming night benefit. (Cowie also decked out the Whitney for its fall gala, another pet event of BCRF founder Evelyn Lauder and her husband Leonard.) Cowie's color scheme reflected the breast cancer crusade's signature color, and he gave pink and white couches and tables a stylish tweak with pink and white swirl-patterned pillows and tablecloths, and pink rose arrangements from Absolutely Wild. The upstairs bar—lit in pink by Stortz Lighting—featured a glowing pink seating area with round ottomans covered in the same pink and white swirl pattern interspersed with glowing white ottomans, and the gaming area had roulette wheels from Great Neck Games & Productions on pink tables
After cocktails, twin acrobatic performers from Cirque du Soleil's O show swung from the venue's high ceilings to call guests to dinner and gaming upstairs. The event was sponsored by Audemars Piguet, which showcased its new line of women's watches at the event.
