At the launch party for President’s Choice Black Label, a new gourmet line of food products, Allyson Meredith Bobbitt and Sarah Bell, pastry chefs and owners of Bobbette and Belle, served their dessert on 60 edible plates made out of sugar. The two chefs molded each plate individually and hand painted them onsite at the Neubacher Shor Contemporary Gallery. They plated dark Venezuelan chocolate cake—which used PC Black Label Venezuela Origine Dark Chocolate Couverture, Cherry Shiraz wine jelly, and hazelnut oil—on the edible art. The event, called "The Dinner Party," attracted 60 influential guests, including Charles Kabouth, Robin Kay, and Rose Reisman on September 22. Chefs Marc Thuet, Bertrand Alépée, and Anthony Walsh created the main courses, which each used PC Black Label products.
