After a grand-opening party last night, Hollywood's new Stork supper club is officially open for business. Loyal Pennings, John Terzian, and Grace Fernandez are partners in the 10,000-square-foot space, which features exposed brick and concrete decor elements created by Amanda Scheer Demme.
Adjacent to the Kodak Theatre, Stork is composed of two separate structures joined on a second floor and linked by a sidewalk. It also includes a lounge that accommodates 315, and a gallery space with its own bar. Available for full buyout, the venue holds 650 in all.
Steven Arroyo (owner of Cobras & Matadors) oversees the kitchen and created the menu, which includes entrees such as steak frites with chive aioli and seared scallops with shitake mushrooms and snap peas. In addition to wine and beer, the cocktail menu features specialty cocktails like the Stork (Marani vodka, triple sec, lime juice, and orange juice).
The Stork has already hosted events including Maxim’s “Extreme Sports Party" in July.
