In October, Randy Zweiban—who left his position as partner and executive chef at Nacional 27 in May—opened Province.
Although the chef is best known for the Nuevo Latin cuisine he prepared at his last job, Zweiban bills Province as an American restaurant. And though the menu offers entrees like a house-ground burger and shrimp with grits, Latin influence creeps into signature dishes such as Cuban pork bocadillo and fluke ceviche with red grapefruit.
Housed in a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-certified building in the West Loop, the venue features a private dining room that can seat 40 or accommodate 49 for cocktails; the full space is also available for buyouts for 110 guests.
On-site amenities include Wi-Fi, an installed projection screen in the private dining room, and optional floral service.
