1. Sky Zone

Sky Zone Mississauga opened in November and offers 15,000 square feet of indoor trampolines. The park can accommodate up to 100 jumpers at a time, and corporate groups can participate in competitions like the SkyLympics or 3-D dodgeball. After jumping, up to 100 guests can relax or continue teambuilding programs in the restaurant area.

3. The Weston Family Learning Centre at the A.G.O.

The Art Gallery of Ontario has organized a number of teambuilding exercises aimed at pushing creative boundaries. After a tour of the gallery, groups head to the new Weston Family Learning Centre, which opened in October. Corporate hosts can pick an art activity ranging from life drawing to printmaking.

5. Bloke & 4th

Lounge and restaurant Bloke & 4th opened in December. Groups of up to 100 can arrange for a private cooking class or cocktail demo. Depending on the group size, classes take place in the 2,500-square-foot bar area or in the state-of-the-art kitchen, home to caterers The Food Dudes.

8. The Rinx

The Rinx entertainment complex opened a $1.2 million event centre in September. The 15,000-square-foot space can accommodate groups of up to 250 and includes six 10-pin bowling lanes, two custom games, a small bar, the Fireside Lounge, and the Event Hall banquet room.

9. Spin

Spin Toronto opened in September. With two private rooms, the ping-pong social club can organize tournament structures for groups. A 600-square-foot private room is available for groups of 20, and the Social Room can accommodate 125. For larger groups of up to 400, the space is available for buyout.

10. St. Lawrence Market Kitchen

The Market Kitchen is hidden away in the mezzanine of the historic St. Lawrence Market. Outfitted with Miele appliances, the open-concept kitchen lends itself to cooking demos and teambuilding challenges. The venue can accommodate up to 100 guests for a reception-style event.
