U.C.L.A. Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center hosted its 17th annual Taste for a Cure food and wine tasting benefit at the Beverly Wilshire on April 26. The event, which focused on Santa Barbara County wines and signature dishes from California’s Central Coast chefs, honored co-head of Creative Artists Agency television department Joe Cohen. #4 Entertainment Industry Event
The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences honors television's best at the annual Primetime Emmy Awards. After the show, the crowd moves to the academy’s huge-scale production, the Governors Ball, billed as the largest formal dinner in the U.S. with about 3,800 guests. Next year, NBC will move the 2014 show from September to late August to avoid conflict with Sunday Night Football. Next: August 24, 2014
