
Photoboxx is a social media printing station for parties and events. When guests post their photos to Twitter or Instagram using a designated hashtag, the Photoboxx printer automatically prints a hard copy. Hosts can customize the background color of the prints and also add graphics or logos. They can also choose whether to display or hide information such as username, profile image, and comments. After the event, Photoboxx provides a report on hashtag usage, impressions, and reach.







MSNBC also offered a 360-degree camera experience that included an attendant who threw black and gold confetti during the shoot. A tablet connected to the booth provided instant social-sharing capability.

Kehoe Designs hosted the Designs for Dignity spring gala on May 5 at the Geraghty in Chicago. A photo booth inspired by bedding company and event sponsor Hästens featured a checkered sheet backdrop and pillows, to make it seem as if attendees were lying in bed.


Guests were encouraged to take a picture with on-site takeaways such as the "I Regret Nothing" bags, which included items such as eyedrops and facial wipes. IPads stationed around the lounge previewed the website's content.

InCharged provided branded charging stations for attendees.

A photo booth is a staple at any event, but Marcy Blum, president of New York-based event planning firm Marcy Blum Associates, recommends creating a stylized photo studio, such as this lush sofa setup with dramatic floral arrangements for group shots.

The Restaurant Association of Metropolitan Washington's 34th annual Rammys award show took place June 12 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. OM Media provided an oversize TV frame as the staging for its photo booth at the Heineken activation. Guests could then post the photos directly to social media or email the pictures to themselves.




Luden's, the cough-drop brand, hosted a so-called Selfie Booth. Guests could pose for keepsake photos with colorful, summery props—including an inflatable ice cream cone. Staffers also doled out samples of Luden's in flavors like watermelon and strawberry banana.

A photo op allowed guests to step into a booth that looked like a hot-air balloon, and pose in front a whimsical backdrop.

Sponsor Coca-Cola hosted its Parada Coca-Cola experience for teens in a former warehouse in the downtown Praça Mauá neighborhood. Interactive experiences for guests included a 360-degree photo booth in which fans could pose with the Olympic torch.

Guests could pose for photos in front of a Shepard Fairey-designed backdrop, with a machine that rained confetti for an added effect.


Event Eleven used stacked vintage television sets as the backdrop for a slow-motion video booth.
