In 2012, HMR Designs gave an event at the Harris Theater all-white decor with large transparent cubes that were suspended from the ceiling in the dining area. White will also be on-trend for galas this spring.

Art Institute of Chicago's Woman's Board and Board of Trustees "Surrealistically Chic" Gala
To celebrate the opening of a Magritte exhibit in 2014, the Chicago-based museum hosted a gala with decor from HMR Designs. Riffing off the Belgian artist's surrealistic work, the design firm filled the dining room with 45 floating clouds. Images of clouds and blue skies also decorated the tabletops.

Spindler Confections in Boston sells artisan caramels, chocolates, and brittles and recently opened a brick-and-mortar store in Cambridge. The company provides custom event favors and can create “sugar banquets”—or elaborate sweets tables—for meetings and events.
