After dinner at the Unicef Hope Gala, which was held April 9 at the Geraghty in Chicago, guests hit the dance floor under a canopy of neon Slinkies as the Ken Arlen Evolution Orchestra played.

New World Symphony Gala

For the March 12 event at the New World Symphony in Miami, Shiraz Events designed a gold, black, and white color scheme. The Miami-based event company celebrated the symphony’s alumni members by creating the NWS logo using all 1,000 of their names on a step-and-repeat.

Amfar Inspiration Gala New York

At the seventh annual Amfar Inspiration Gala New York, which took place June 9 at Skylight at Moynihan Station and was produced by Josh Wood Productions, sponsor Moët Hennessy brought an on-site champagne vending machine to the event.

Headphone stations dotted the event space, providing guests an opportunity to listen to industry stories on the video screens above the dance floor. The sponsor lounges for Events DC, OpenTable, and Washington DC Economic Partnership also had headphones on the side tables and ottomans.

OM Digital provided an oversize TV frame as the staging for its photo booth at the Heineken activation. Guests could then post the photos directly to social media or email the pictures to themselves.

Airbnb captured the retro theme in its sponsored lounge with bright purple sofas, multi-fabric wingback chairs, and floral and patchwork pillows.

Events DC utilized a black, white, red, and blue design for its lounge where private chefs served made-to-order peppercorn-crusted filet mignon, Maryland crab cakes, and jumbo poached shrimp with chilled asparagus and white truffle mashed potatoes.

Design Foundry created an indoor garden with two-foot hedges and faux grass turf in front of the dance floor. Hanging wicker chairs and a mix of hightop wooden stools and white canvas lounge furniture provided seating.
