









Veuve Clicquot's third annual Carnaval-theme event took place March 4 at Museum Park in Miami. Designed by Overland Entertainment Company, the event featured a backdrop of greenery that displayed the event's title and Veuve Clicquot champagne bottles.

Pinch Food Design created unique catering options including churros served from an umbrella.

Guests registered under a dome structure in the main tent, which provided an airy space with lounge seating.






BMF Media Group returned to the Hard Rock Hotel to host the "It's so Miami Lounge" throughout Lollapalooza weekend. Starbucks hosted its first festival activation this year at the lounge. The suite offered oversize chess and Connect Four games, plus small café tables stocked with buckets of bottled iced coffee.

Chalkboards are popping up in all kinds of event decor. Available through Pressed Cotton are chalkboard tags, $3.50 each, which can be used as signage or place cards or can be hung from the neck of wine bottles to designate tables.

During the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, app analytics platform App Annie hosted a futuristic event on March 17 at live-music venue Mezzanine. The event's theme was "Vision." The word was spelled out in an installation made with cups of popcorn. From the "O" in vision, doughnut holes poured forth in a setup referred to as "Orbs in the Abyss." Roar Events produced the event; Culinary Eye handled catering.
