Poppy’s BMW i Powered Paradise

The automotive company partnered with experiential marketing firm Mirrored Media for a campaign that saw 15 BMW iFleets wrapped in a colorful custom design created by Portugal the Man's John Gourley. Social-media influencers then drove the iFleets to the festival, sharing their road trip with followers along the way.

HBO's inaugural Insecure Fest took over the Banc of California Stadium, a new 22,000-seat space in Exposition Park that opened in April. The day featured large-scale, colorful signage.

'Homecoming'

After a screening, guests entered the event’s immersive after-party, a custom buildout from MKG. Props and set pieces from the show made the space look like the Homecoming Transitional Support Center, a main setting from the series. A photo booth was styled like a medical exam room.

Visitors were able to wander through the field of Louisville Slugger bats. On the other side, a lathe operator was creating bats from the wooden billets, which were then added back to the “field” as completed bats.
