Hunger-relief organization Food Bank for New York City celebrated its annual Can Do Awards Dinner in April 2018 at Cipriani Wall Street. The star-studded gala, which saw performances from Salt-N-Pepa and Kid Capri, had simple yet sleek centerpieces designed by Swoop that evoked the city’s skyline.

The Robin Hood Foundation celebrated its 30th anniversary May 2018 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. The benefit, which had a “Lights of New York” theme, had three-sided mini marquee centerpieces that offered messages of gratitude and celebrated the organization's anniversary. David Stark Design and Production designed the event.

In January 2016, the Walrus Foundation hosted its annual gala at the Fermenting Cellar in Toronto. The event paid homage to the Canadian city, and the skyline appeared in imagery at the bar, on the walls, and more. Tabletops were decked with miniature renderings of the Toronto skyline, created in paper by artist Kalpna Patel.

Guests entered the benefit by walking through an oversize keyhole, a visualization of the evening's theme of "Unlock the Future." Freestanding keyholes in the same size continued at intervals along the entryway.

The Toronto Public Library Foundation hosted its annual black tie fund-raiser in April at the Toronto Reference Library. Each table at the dinner portion of the event, which raised more than $692,000 for the library’s youth empowerment programs and services, featured a Canadian author host. The list of the 43 authors and their notable books were featured on circular placemats in text printed in concentric circles. Candice & Alison designed the event.

Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation’s Blue Diamond Gala

Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation hosted its fourth annual Blue Diamond Gala at Dodger Stadium. The evening event, which raised more than $2.2 million, featured a performance by John Legend and was emceed by Arsenio Hall and George Lopez. International Event Company handled the design and production of the gala, which showcased sponsors on large mirrored spheres that hung above the bar area.
