The 45th anniversary of the show hosted some 300,000 households who came to view hundreds of cars, SUVs, and crossover vehicles on display during the 10-day run at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Nearly 11,000 attendees filled the Fort Lauderdale Convention Center to see 724 exhibitors from 93 countries at the major cruise industry show. Next: March 13-16, 2017

New owner Reed Exhibitions added an April show to the other two held annually in Miami Beach, as well as a new education series to the trade-only show, which attracts jewelry manufacturers, wholesalers, and other industry professionals. Since Reed took over the show last year, attendance has increased more than 20 percent. Next: October 14-17, 2016

#12 Trade Event, Expo & Convention (new to the list)
Formerly named Animate Miami, organizers adopted the new moniker to reflect the ambitions of the growing show, which attracted 12,000 anime and animation enthusiasts last year. Heading into its fifth year, the show will take over 200,000 square feet of space in its new home at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center. Next: September 16-18, 2016

There were nearly 200 exhibitors and 500 boats on display at the 28th annual show, a free, in-water event formerly known as the Yacht & Brokerage Show. Next: February 16-20, 2017
