
#1 Beauty Industry Event
As the East Coast’s leading event for beauty professionals, the International Beauty Show New York brings together more than 66,000 members of the industry to learn about trends and innovations. Held at the Jacob K. Javits Center, the show is the longest-running beauty show in the United States and includes more than 500 exhibitors, 100 classes, hands-on workshops, live demonstrations, and more. Next: March 10-12, 2019

#2 Beauty Industry Event
Some 700 guests attended the Fragrance Foundation Awards at Alice Tully Hall at Lincoln Center in 2018 to celebrate creativity and artistry in the world of fragrances. Actress Jane Krakowski hosted the ceremony, and Naomi Campbell, Rita Ora, John Varvatos, and Jason Wu were among the celebrity presenters. The event moves to a new, yet-to-be-announced location in 2019. Next: Summer 2019

#3 Beauty Industry Event (new to the list)
This year marks the fifth anniversary of Beautycon, a festival where leading and emerging beauty brands showcase their latest products to as many as 16,000 attendees. The event underwent significant changes in 2018, adding a second day of programming and moving from Brooklyn to the Jacob K. Javits Center in Manhattan. K-Town, an activation dedicated to Korean beauty, and B-Well, a health and wellness pavilion, were also new in 2018. Next: April 6-7, 2019

#4 Beauty Industry Event
With Elizabeth Hurley back as emcee, the Breast Cancer Research Foundation’s Hot Pink Party drew supporters and celebrities including Tommy Hilfiger, LL Cool J, Misty Copeland, and Jeff Gordon. Mary J. Blige gave a show-stopping performance during the glamorous event at the Park Avenue Armory, which raised $5.7 million for the organization’s efforts to find a cure for breast cancer.
