Blueprint Studios had the honor of supporting the John Muir Health Foundation as their preferred design partner for their sixth annual John Muir Health Foundation Gala at the Concord Jet Center in Concord, California. Celebrate John Muir Health! is the John Muir Health Foundation’s annual signature fundraising event in support of health initiatives and services. Started in 2014, each year’s event has a unique theme and Blueprint Studios went above and beyond with a variety of The Wizard of Oz scenes for this year’s motif. Blueprint Studios set out to add a cinematic element to the gala and create a dramatic experiential quality to the event in an effort to surpass previous years’ fundraising totals.

The John Muir Health Foundation Gala was a statement in creating a thematic immersive experience. Guests were welcomed into the Kansas-themed registration area which featured bare rural aesthetics including Pallet Bar check-in counters and a custom fabricated spinning tornado prop. Attendees were then transported through the Rainbow Tunnel to Munchkinland, a cocktail arrival reception complete with Yellow Brick Road-inspired bars, giant poppies, and Blueprint Studios’ firey La Scala Chandeliers. The main portion of the evening took place beyond the hangar doors where guests were invited to Emerald City. The transformed airplane hangar welcomed over 750 guests to an illuminated sea of green for the gala dinner and auction. Lighting specialist Got Light provided custom lighting fixtures while Blueprint Studios showcased their mirrored-top Napoli Dining Tables and clear acrylic Infinity Chairs along with a custom-built Emerald City-inspired stage. Gala guests danced the night away as $3.3 million dollars were raised in support of John Muir Health's Comprehensive Cancer Center.
