Fort Worth has diverse amenities and event facilities available to help meeting planners execute the event of a lifetime.

Downtown Fort Worth is home to outstanding hotel accommodations with 3,400 hotel rooms and over 1,000 planned to include Kimpton, Marriott Autograph, Hilton Garden Inn and more. Within walking distance of the downtown Fort Worth hotels and its incredible restaurants, premier shopping and attractions is the Fort Worth Convention Center.

The center offers 253,000 square feet of total exhibit space, nearly 60,000 square feet of flexible meeting space and an impressive 28,160 square-foot ballroom ideal for any type of event.  Fort Worth’s Cultural District, which boasts some of the top art museums in the country, is just a short distance from the versatile Will Rogers Memorial Center. The new addition of Dickies Arena, an exceptional multi-purpose arena which opened in November, will create even greater opportunities. The new arena will attract high-quality entertainment from concerts, sporting events and family shows.

Dickies Arena also has the capacity to accommodate conventions, exhibit events, business meetings and private receptions with flexible meeting and event spaces ranging in size from 685 square feet to 91,315 square feet.

Planners looking beyond the ballroom can look to Firestone and Robertson Distilling Co.’s newest creation, Whiskey Ranch, the largest whiskey distillery West of the Mississippi and a 112-acre whiskey wonderland that sits on a fully-functioning historic golf course. Whiskey Ranch offers event space with ample areas for outdoor events for larger gatherings, all with panoramic views of downtown Fort Worth.  Other unique venues include the Texas Motor Speedway offering out-of-the-box teambuilding activities with the “pit crew” experience perfect for groups.

Planners can also rest assure there’s plenty to experience to make Fort Worth the ideal bleisure destination. For a truly Texan experience, the Stockyards National Historic District showcases rich western heritage from the world’s largest honky-tonk to the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive. Just north of the city’s world-renowned Cultural District, a new epicenter of emerging art can be found in The Foundry District.

A walkable lane named Inspiration Alley beautified by murals from 11 local artists weaves throughout the new development home to local restaurateurs, a local barber and more.  There’s also plenty to eat along one of Fort Worth’s “restaurant rows” known as Magnolia Avenue, ample shopping at new upscale-shopping destinations in Clearfork and Westbend and a generous amount of trails to hike, bike, run or float along the up and coming Left Bank, Panther Island and River District neighborhoods.

However, the best part of Fort Worth’s distinction isn’t found in its districts, venues or group offerings; it’s found in its people. Texas hospitality is unlike any other hospitality, and Fort Worth’s hospitality community is a true extension of it. Clients will also enjoy personalized service as a Visit Fort Worth representative will assist them every step of the way to ensure the event goes off without a hitch.
