Looking to add a feel-good factor to an event without incorporating a full-blown fund-raising component? Here are five vendors that raise money for charities while serving an event's purpose.

1. SoHo's Housing Works Bookstore Café contributes all proceeds to provide medical care, job training, and social services to New Yorkers living with HIV and AIDS. The space can accommodate events for as many as 300 people. For on- or off-site events, Housing Works' in-house catering company, the Works Catering offers seasonal New American fare by executive chef Michael Sherman, who has worked at Aureole, the Soho Grand Hotel, and Bouley. The Works can provide passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet stations, plated meals, and box lunches. All catering profits also benefit the organization.

2. Also in SoHo, Openhouse Gallery automatically allocates five percent of the revenue generated by every booking of its gallery space to a nonprofit organization of the client's choice. The all-white 4,500 square-foot retail gallery has 16-foot ceilings, five skylights, and drive-in access.

3. Common Ground, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending homelessness, collects rental proceeds from the 4,800-square-foot Prince George Ballroom, which it owns. The ballroom, designed at the turn of the last century, also has a 3,000-square-foot gallery and a tea room that can seat 65.

4. Big Apple Circus is a not-for-profit organization committed to kids and their families. Ticket revenue supports programs including Clown Care, through which circus performers entertain acutely and chronically ill children at hospitals across the country; Circus For All!, which distributes more than 50,000 free and subsidized tickets to public schools and organizations serving economically disadvantaged children; and Circus After School, an arts education program for at-risk children.

5. Treats Truck donates 10 percent of its profits to a different charity each month. Past recipients include New York Cares, Education Through Music, and the Food Bank for New York City. Treats Truck can provide boxes of sweets for in-office meetings or make appearances at events.
