Emmy Governors Ball chair Geriann McIntosh and event producer Cheryl Cecchetto of Sequoia Productions revealed plans for an eco-friendly post-award-ceremony bash this year at a media presentation on Thursday. “Nothing is going to be trashed,” said Cecchetto, who has collaborated with McIntosh on the ball for the past 10 years.

Catering company Patina, which is preparing a menu that will include a whopping 14,000 pounds of Angus free-range boneless beef short rib, will donate leftover food to local missions and will compost inedible scraps. Floral arrangements created by Mark’s Garden will go UCLA’s Mattel Children’s hospital, and everything from set pieces to linens will be reused.
