Floral designers Mark Held and Richard David of Mark’s Garden teamed up with Peggy Dark of catering firm the Kitchen to produce the new book Fabulous Parties. The event veterans—Mark’s Garden has created floral arrangements for the Academy Awards’ Governors Ball for 15 years, and Dark has catered a Max Mara runway show and Avril Lavigne's wedding—offer tips for re-creating 20 looks ranging from a rustic, Italian-inspired party to a girly luncheon in a pink palette.
Also included in the book are recipes for appetizers, entrées, and desserts, as well as suggestions and instructions for creating floral centerpieces and adornments.
