The new Bread & Brew near Dupont Circle

Bread & Brew, a new green-certified café and bar, specializes in breakfast and lunch for in-office meetings. Chef Eugene Ngono uses organic ingredients and vegetables from local farms, when available. A popular breakfast order is the Kennedy, which includes assorted bagels, muffins, Danish, croissants, and fresh sliced fruit, for $8 per person. Meats for the hand-crafted sandwiches are roasted on-site. Quiche can be customized or traditional: broccoli and cheese, Italian vegetable, spinach and Swiss, and Lorraine all cost $25 and serve eight to 10. Keeping with the green theme, all catering packaging is bio-degradable.
