Dan Parise, former vice president of Live Nation special events and director of production for Live Nation Music New York, has left the entertainment giant to launch his own company, Diversified Production Services. In addition to producing international live entertainment and events, the firm will also handle logistics, staging, set design, tour planning, vendor sourcing, and travel and talent coordination.

Joining Parise in this new venture are colleagues from his former Live Nation event department: Dave Meyers, Chris Balogh, Hans Polleman, Carly Vaknin, Cheryl Alper, and Randi Blattberg. The team helped execute events including the first-ever concert in the new Yankee Stadium featuring Jay-Z and Eminem, the 25th anniversary Rock & Roll Hall of Fame concert, the Concert for New York City following 9/11, Z100’s Jingle Ball, the Robin Hood Foundation fund-raisers, and the N.F.L.’s Kickoff and Super Bowl events, among others.

Parise, a 25-year entertainment industry veteran, served as director of production at Clear Channel Entertainment before it was renamed Live Nation in 2005, and at SFX Entertainment prior to that.
