For Paper magazine's silent auction at the Ukrainian Institute of America benefiting Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (Diffa), set design company House of Schwartz built elegant, easel-like white wooden tables to display 100 custom-made book jackets designed by some of the fashion industry's biggest names for the mag's second book, 20 Years of Style: The World According to Paper. The simple white tables nicely offset the lavish book jackets from Christian Lacroix, Judith Leiber, Issey Miyake, and Patricia Field. The Diffa staff and volunteers, led by associate director Steve Kolb, ran the auction.
