San Francisco-based art and apparel company Upper Playground will launch several downtown retail storefronts in an open house on Saturday afternoon at 125 East 6th Street.
One space will serve as a rotating showcase for fashion and art. The venue has a total capacity of 150 and is available for event booking through SA Studios Global. Custom motorcycles from designer Roland Sands and fashion pieces from Tony Ward will lead off the exhibit series, and in August the space will become the exclusive promotional site for Overture Films’ Righteous Kill.

Upper Playground’s shop includes an art gallery and will feature a line of Los Angeles-inspired apparel, plus its signature T-shirts, hoodies, jackets, and luggage. Photographer and director Estevan Oriol and artist Mister Cartoon will each have retail stores as well.
