On June 15, Harrods dispatched jolly messengers to spread the word about its annual Summer Sale. Dressed in green outfits inspired by the retailer's iconic "Green Men" (or bellmen-like figures), 50 performers gathered outside of the shop as part of a flash mob. Other dancers, dressed less conspicuously as customers, security officers, and journalists, eventually joined in with the choreographed routine. The spectacle ended with a countdown and a confetti explosion at 9 a.m., just as the store opened its doors and shoppers rushed in to nab discounted goods from brands like Jimmy Choo and Givenchy.
