Interior Design Show's Opening Night Party
At the Interior Design Show's opening night party on January 26, 5,500 guests mingled on the trade show floor in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. A young guest experimented with the interactive Christie MicroTiles wall. When guests passed in front, patterns on the screens disappeared to reveal live video feeds of themselves. The images were projected onto 1,300 felt strips which made up Raw Design’s "StripTease" entrance installation.

Three video crews traveled around the exhibit hall at the P.G.A. Merchandise Show, from January 26 to 28 at Orlando's Orange County Convention Center, recording keynote addresses, fashions shows, and interviews with exhibitors. The videos were then posted on the show's Web site, on pga.com, and on golfchannel.com to give the public a glimpse inside the trade-only show—and give exhibitors exposure to a broader audience.

To capture the inspiration behind the Jason Wu for Target collection, the retailer fashioned a full-scale Parisian street scene inside Skylight SoHo for a preview party in New York on January 26. A seating area set inside a French-style café offered banquettes and marble-topped tables, allowing guests to sit and chat after shopping in the boutique.
