NEW YORK—From tech-inspired sleepwear to perfume pop-ups to fashion on a ferry, here’s how brands incorporated their signature style into the latest New York Fashion Week, which ran Sept. 6-11.
Samsung x LaQuan Smith

Samsung collaborated with fashion designer LaQuan Smith for his spring/summer '25 collection. Lucid Dream by LaQuan Smith | Samsung is a limited-edition line of luxury sleepwear inspired by Samsung's Galaxy Ring. The four-piece collection includes day-to-night options that echo Galaxy Ring’s 24/7 wearable design.

Each sleepwear garment includes a hangtag with a QR code that offers a behind-the-scenes look into Smith’s personal experience with the Galaxy Ring and how it inspired the pieces.

Prada Paradoxe Flower Lab Pop-Up

Prada Beauty partnered with CNC Agency to create an immersive experience around the launch of its new fragrance, Paradoxe Virtual Flower. CNC brought the Prada Floral Market to life through pop-up locations across New York City.

The campaign generated consumer buzz and social engagement by distributing over 18,000 floral stems and 14,000 fragrance samples.

L.L.Bean Pop-Up

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of its iconic Boat and Tote, L.L.Bean, with help from Factory360, hosted a two-day pop-up at the start of New York Fashion Week. The outdoor retailer partnered with embroidery shop Abbode and transformed its storefront in NoLIta into a temporary archival showroom, giving customers an immersive look at the brand's 112-year history and heritage.

Event attendees had the opportunity to shop the L.L.Bean Boat and Tote and Canvas Zip Pouch and select from a variety of complimentary embroidery options. The brand sold out of its 1,000 canvas totes and 500-plus zip pouches.

Tommy Hilfiger Spring ‘25 Show

Tommy Hilfiger’s show was held aboard the decommissioned Staten Island ferry that Pete Davidson and Colin Jost bought a few years ago. The ferry, known as the MV John F. Kennedy, is currently being renovated by the same architect behind Nine Orchard, with the goal of turning it into an entertainment venue.

Docked at Pier 17 at the South Street Seaport, the ferry served as the ideal spot for the designer’s preppy, nautical-inspired looks.

Goldfish x Kate Barton

Goldfish crackers made their New York Fashion Week debut alongside womenswear designer Kate Barton, who is known for incorporating goldfish motifs into her designs in unexpected ways, whether on a T-shirt or in a glass purse. This season, the designer teamed up with the snack brand for her NYFW debut collection with models sporting tank tops and keychains adorned with the iconic Goldfish silhouette.

Olaplex’s ‘The Leave ‘Inn’

Olaplex partnered with CNC to create an immersive experience called "The Leave Inn" to celebrate the launch of its No. 5L Leave-In Conditioner.

The pop-up event featured a hotel-theme setup with a custom check-in process, product education at the Bond Bar, styling sessions in the Styling Lounge, complimentary beverages, photo moments, and product giveaways.

NYLON Nights: Fashion Edition x Paris Hilton ‘Infinite Icon’ Album Release Party

On Sept. 5 at Hall des Lumières, NYLON celebrated the release of Paris Hilton’s new album, Infinite Icon, during the latest edition of NYLON Nights. Presented by HEYDUDE, the night featured a live performance by Hilton.

'Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good' Campaign

DutchX, a zero-emission delivery solutions provider, collaborated with biomedical skincare brand Ameōn Skin and clean supplement brand Sera & Mattina for the “Look Good, Feel Good, Do Good” campaign, where the brands partnered with content creators like Alexander Sim and Hannah Jo Buchalter to get them ready for NYFW. Each gifting was delivered by one of DutchX’s W-2 delivery associates via its electric fleet.

Refinery29’s Inaugural 29 Powerhouses Event

Refinery29 kicked off New York Fashion Week with its inaugural 29 Powerhouses event at the penthouse at NoMo SoHo. The event honored 29 individuals “powering new rules and modes of self-expression.” Attendees included Ella Emhoff, Yung Miami, Lauren Chan (pictured), Jay-Ann Lopez, Thalía Gochez, and Justina Miles.

KidSuper's Funny Business Volume III

KidSuper returned with his comedy fashion show extravaganza called Funny Business Volume III. Held at the Apollo Theater in Harlem, the show featured Marlon Wayans on hosting duties and performances by several comedians, all dressed in pieces from KidSuper’s fall/winter 2024 collection.

On Sept. 7 at Sony Hall, Runway 7’s "Project Lab Coat" featured custom-designed lab coats created in collaboration with Mount Sinai’s Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis. The runway featured doctors, nurse practitioners, and models in the custom lab coats.

NYFW Shows Powered by Miami Swim Week

NYFW Shows Powered by Miami Swim Week returned for its second year at New York Fashion Week for the spring/summer 2025 season at The Paramount Building. Originally gaining prominence in Miami as Miami Swim Week: The Shows, this fashion vertical presented 12 emerging and established designers whose looks ranged from swimwear to haute couture.

Momcozy Lounge

At Momcozy Lounge, a pop-up and gifting suite from the mother and baby brand, maternity professionals and a doula were on hand to answer any questions and offer guidance about motherhood. On Sept. 6, the VIP launch party featured a discussion with fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff about the challenges of motherhood and her career journey.

Complex’s Who Decides War Event

Complex hosted its first-ever NYFW event in partnership with fashion label WHO DECIDES WAR. The afternoon of activity included a pop-up gallery showcasing a retrospective look at the brand’s journey as well as an unveiling of WHO DECIDES WAR’S new collaboration with streetwear company Pelle Pelle.

TUNL Gala

On Sept. 5, TUNL celebrated its inaugural gala at Spring Studios. Presented by Spotify and hosted by Roc Nation's Lenny Santiago, the evening brought together the worlds of music, fashion, and sports, with appearances by Taraji P. Henson, Joan Smalls, Fabolous, Rich Paul, Rachel Lindsay, Dave East, David Banner, Chloe Pavlich, Speedy Morman, and Wisdom Kaye. Guests sipped on a selection of signature D'USSÉ cognac cocktails throughout the night. TUNL (named after athletes’ pregame “tunnel fits”) is a new media platform blending sports and fashion.

Tourism Authority of Thailand’s ‘Unveiling Thailand’s Charm: A 2024 Showcase’

On Sept. 5, the Tourism Authority of Thailand presented “Unveiling Thailand’s Charm: A 2024 Showcase,” followed by “A Royal Gala Night,” to celebrate New York Fashion Week at Mandarin Oriental, New York. The showcase and gala featured interactive moments for guests to experience Thailand’s “5 Must Do” pillars: Must Taste, Must Try, Must Buy, Must Seek, and Must See. Virtual reality videos were a Must Seek moment, presenting content of sights and experiences from the destination.

Christian Cowan x La Roche-Posay

Christian Cowan’s spring/summer 2025 collection was presented at the BLADE EAST tarmac with a dramatic backdrop of the East River and Queens skyline. As the official skincare sponsor, La Roche-Posay worked with dermatologist Dr. Angelo Landriscina who worked with each of the models to apply a personalized skin prep routine customized to their individual skin type and concerns.

CatWalk FurBaby

In its second year, Elysian’s CatWalk FurBaby continued to blend fashion and philanthropy with a charitable runway show at Sony Hall. This year’s event supported charities across Elysian Impact's five focus areas: women, children, pets, public service, and the environment. Organizations such as Operation Kindness, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC, and the American Red Cross were matched with models, designers, and pet influencers.

LuisaViaRoma’s Flagship Event

LuisaViaRoma inaugurated its 1 Bond St. flagship store with a cocktail event and performance by Charlotte Lawrence, in partnership with Bolt. For the event, culinary artist Laila Gohar presented a series of gastronomic sculptures on museum-style plinths that took inspiration from the store’s aesthetic, and abstract cakes mimicked the limestone and clay that’s incorporated throughout the store's shelves and surfaces.
